I swear, some of the reviews about most chinese places kill me! You'd think most these people were walking into a PC Changs or Houlihans or something. Listen folks, IT'S A CHINESE BUFFET! What do you expect? Can this technically be termed as cheap food, yes....is the service 5 star quality, with white linen service, no..... Some of you guys need to lower those culinary expectations a bit. If you want 5-Star quality and service, keep trucking cause you ain't finding it here. But, if your looking for a quick lunch or dinner, with friendly service, hot food and good prices, go ahead and pull up a chair. Those with halfway realistic expectations won't be disappointment.

Only 3 stars? Most of the written reviews were favorable. We decided to go on the written reviews. For an Asian buffet, this one is really good. The store was very clean. The staff was very tentative, immediately took dirty plates off of the table & when someone left, the table was cleaned off immediately. The food was fresh & warm and tasted good. We will go back. We liked everything about this place.

This was the worse buffet experience ever. first of all- no one speaks English. secondly , they kept coming to check our table to see if our 2 year old child was eating from my plate. they forced us to separate drinks and worst of all, when we ordered a separate dish for our son, not only did they get it wrong, the manager chose to argue with us before bringing the correct thing. just despicable. we will never ever come back here.

Stale food, dirty cups and plates. If you are looking for cheap buffet with no quality food this is the place for you. Other than that, I don't know why this place even exist.

Easily the best Chinese buffet in the area - but it's still a Chinese buffet. Westernized Chinese comfort food. And it's good for that, because sometimes that's just what you want. The sushi rolls are usually fresh (not usually any sashimi, though), the hot stuff is hot, the cold stuff is cold, the price is decent, and all is right with the world. And sometimes they have those moist little macaroons...

I do not know why the other reviewers did not give them at least 5 stars but me and my wife was visiting from Chicago and for about $21 we was stuff (we had water)drinks other then water cost more,my wife is a hard person to please but they made her so happy that i ask her how she would grade it and she gave it 5 stars to which is hard coming from a hard to please person,if we go back to Benton Harbor again we plan to make a stop here!

Typical Asian buffet. Food is average for a buffet at best. Nothing notable

Mongolian BBQ plus water equals lazy chef. Literally the food was average/par and the chef with the mongolian bbq drenched everything in water constantly.

I think this might be the best Chinese buffet in town. They have 6 bars of food, mongolian BBQ section, and a sushi section. The place is big and fairly clean for a buffet. The food it not empty much they keep it filled up.

Place very clean.......staff great.......many choices on buffet bar.....it was hot and fresh, but lacking in that "wow" flavor.

If you are looking for a Chinese buffet in the Benton Harbor area, this one should be it. The food is usually fresh and the staff is pretty attentive. Compared to it's neighboring buffet across the street there is ABSOLUTELY NO comparison. Asian Grill has a small array of buffet quality sushi, which isn't terrible and a small stir-fry station. Before moving to North Carolina, this was my husband and I's buffet of choice.

The kitchen is not even a kitchen where making food... Mexican washes hands with water flowing into the pot full with broccoli and vegetables. Once I knocked down the whole bowl of broccoli and cucumber slices salad, I picked them up right at the time I was walking to the fountain to wash them, the boss's wife Joy stopes me, said if you wash them all turn bad!!! Then I just stopped and left the water fountain...then broccoli salad are DONE at the salad bar every one eating happily... It was day of 14th, July, 2015. Wish you were not there, if you were, wish you didn't try it. I'm just very sorry...

Listen, this is a Chinese buffet. So what else are you gonna expect? Well expect greatness. This place is legit. There's a new trend in Chinese buffet world which includes a trifecta of Asian food. There's the buffet, the sushi bar and the Mongolian grill where you choose "fresh" ingredients and give it to this random guy who accepts tips to cook your food. Now look, for anyone's health, you should not be eating at a Chinese buffet that much because you will literally die of MSG overdose. But after seeing a good amount of Chinese buffets, I will testify that Asian Grill is the best one I've been to. I can't explain to you why... I mean, it's the experience that goes with the food. Hint: Don't go with people who don't like Asian Grill, they literally suck the life out of the place. You need Asian Grill enthusiasts and just enjoy the ambiance and relaxing times of Asian Grill. My favorite dishes though are the black pepper chicken, beef and broccoli, and their cheese pizza. Okay, just kidding about their pizza, but yes, they do serve that $1.25 cheese pizza that you can buy at wal mart. Genius. But in conclusion, Asian Grill is the place to go at Benton Harbor. And guess what? Their prices are ridic. No better value. Next time you go, let me know cause I'm always down for some AG.

The price is OK, but it's certainly not notable.

Your typical Americanized Chinese buffet. Fairly good variety and they have a Mongolian grill. Prices are pretty good and they always have coupons in the paper.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
